Welcome to a more traditional IT Ramble from The Podfather. In this gentle ramble through items current to me!!!! and probably no-one else, especially outside the UK ( no, no don't give up on me for being parochial !!!!).
I discuss our school skype link with New Zealand and how that developed thanks to Joe Dale into an article in the Times Educational Supplement of 5th January ( page 58 for anyone looking).
Next we move to the great news that a group of 4 of my Year 6 NewsTeam pupils have won in the Best Overseas Story category of a national online multimedia journalism competition called Making The News run by the E2BN ( East of England Broadband Network) - the pupils were invited to London ( the BETT 2007 Show) to receive their prizes, and I discuss what I saw at the BETT Show as well in my brief 2 hour visit.
