Thanks to all of those who made the K12 online conference happen - also thanks to all those online over the weekend.
I think that it worked because of the 'flakiness' of skype - enabling us to switch to IM through http://tappedin.org ( where there is a K12 online community - do come and join in ).

I am currently the online workshop coordinator for the International Baccalaureate Organisation's Professional Development and Research Division. Previously for 19 years I was a Primary School teacher at Cefn Fforest Primary School where for the last 3 years I worked to give our pupils the oppportunity to develop their own voice on a global scale through the use of Blogs, Podcasts etc. This enabled to make some wonderful Web2.0 educational friends around the world...... the world is indeed flat.
